Hsinchu City Government

BRIEFING

The Prefecture Government Hall, also called municipal government hall.

The infrastructures were mainly left by Qing Dynasty when Japanese troops occupied the place in 1895.

Start from the City God Temple,and follow Zhongsheng Road to the end of the road.

The magnificent building appears in front. The total walking
distance is about 100 meters.

In 1946,
separated from Taoyuan and Miaoli
county, the Hsinchu County Government
was established, and used the Prefecture
Government hall for its office building.
